Maya Angelou wrote, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

This quote captures the essence of what drives me as a nurse. Every person I come in contact with is an opportunity to leave them with something that will help them feel better about themselves. It is the belief in endless opportunities that has brought me to Luna Living.

My first job was at South Pointe Hospital as a patient care nursing assistant while I earned my degree (BSN, RN) at Ursuline College. After graduation, I worked nights for two years before transitioning to day shift as Assistant Nurse Manager. The past seven years of my clinical experience has also given me many leadership opportunities. I am proud of being honored with The Leadership Award, a Nursing Excellence Award at The Cleveland Clinic Nursing Institute and for having been chosen for the Clinical Leadership Education and Development Program. This recognition of my leadership as a nurse is a great personal honor and achievement.

For fun, I like spending time with my two dogs, relaxing with family, and going to comedy shows around Cleveland. I’m a “foodie” and Cleveland is a food town. When I’m not checking out new restaurants you’ll find me at the movies. I really enjoy going to Virginia Beach for my annual vacation. I believe in living life and not enduring it which means being active in the community I live in and in my career as a nurse.
